About Me
My name is Stuart Jeffery and I am a game designer that focuses on level and narrative design. This website showcases projects I completed during my time at Falmouth University. I am passionate about creating unique and engaging gaming experiences that allow the player to either actively or passively learn about the work they are playing in, as well as creating active and engaging levels and quests that can challenge the player. This page includes information about my education, as well as a list of the software and tools I am proficient in using.
Work Experience / Positions
President of Falmouth Video Gaming Society (22/23)
As president, I was in charge of making sure that events and operations of the society ran smoothly and that if issues came up, I had to make sure that it was handled appropriately and to the standards given by the Student Union.
During my presidency, I led a revival of the society due to Covid, as well as previous administrative setbacks, taking the society from 40ish members to 90 to 110 members, placing us as the 2nd society with the most membership.

ESports Secretary of Falmouth Video Gaming Society (23/24)
As ESports Sec, I had to make sure that any related announcements were given, maintain contact with the relevant people with organizations such as NSE (National Student ESports) and NUEL (now UK University ESports), and making sure that teams are suited for playing.
During my time as ESports Sec, I managed to increase the number of teams from 7 (For 7 multiple different games such as League of Legends, Apex, Overwatch, etc) to almost 17 teams, some of these proceeded to reach division one of their respective tournaments .
Vice President of Falmouth Tabletop Gaming Society (23/24)
As VP, I acted as the president's second in command as well as proxy in times that he was unavailable, I also took care of the more administrative portions of the society such as room allocation and membership registration.
During my time as VP, I helped increase resources to all sections of the society by increase the number of attendees per night as we as adding an extra day per week to make sure that people who hadn't had the chance to attend are given the chance to.

Student Mentor (23/24)
As a student mentor, I was tasked with helping incoming students with any questions or issues that they had during their first year at Uni, being academic or personal.
I also took part in the PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) scheme, which meant that I also helped students (in generally but mainly Game Dev students), such as helping them learn version control using Git and Fork, agile practices such as scrum and using engines such as Unity and Unreal
