After I had completed the combat design, I moved onto art direction, I decided to keep it relatively simple and forgiving, going for a cartoonish, animated look. Doing like this will allow for disproportionate body types as well as interesting contrast. This sort of art style works well for games like the Lamplighter's League and We Happy Few, which is another game set within a steampunk / Victorian setting.

Once I settled with that I started to find and put together visual boards that help show the direction of the art and style of the world and characters.

After that I made sure to put the files onto my website for ease of download as well as the fact that it was a part of the brief

In conclusion, this project was eye opening, especially when I looked into the work that goes into level design and combat systems for turn based games, a lot of information and stats are required to make sure that it works and is fair which is hard to balance especially as the game progresses due to increasing enemy difficulty and weapon advancement. I like doing this assignment and I think that I managed to do it to the best of my ability, even go as fair as to say that I may of written more for this than previous assignments before.
